I love this phone!
I switched from the android-based LG Ally because of the load/lag time, limited space, and limited memory. The Samsung Stratosphere is 100x better! It's super fast with no lag time when switching screens or switching between apps. I\'ve downloaded a ton of apps including Vlingo (siri-like voice commands), Facebook, Netflix, and Pandora, and they all run great. I love the included Task Manager, which eliminates the need to download a task-killer from the market. It also includes Quik Office which allows you to view, create and edit Office documents from programs like powerpoint, word, excel, and Adobe Reader. The calendar and alarm clock are both excellent as well. The screen is clear and bright and although the battery is just OK, it's comparable to other 4G Android phones.

I actually like this phone a lot. It is my first smart phone. The display is great. It is clear and crisp. I don't have any problems with it lagging between menus as others have suggested. I have not had a problem with it locking up or shutting down. The call quality is great. The keyboard is great even though it is a little hard to work because the phone is big. I don't use it (the keyboard) nearly as much as I thought I would, coming from an LG EnV3. The battery life seems to be pretty average from what I hear about smartphones. If I only use it to talk and text, it will last pretty much the entire working day. If I'm playing games or on the internet, I do have to plug it in during the day. Overall, I am very pleased with my phone and glad I made the switch from standard to smartphone. Definitely glad I chose the Stratosphere.

The LCD broke while sitting in my coat pocket on the back of my chair. Not dropped or misused. Verizon & Samsung won't fix or replace. Told by a Verizon dealer that it is a known issue with the phone.

I want to love this phone, I really do. I think the design is great. The slide out keyboard (the reason I bought this phone)is awesome and makes texting and internet use really easy. The problem I have is with call quality, and it's pretty major. Not only do I get constant complaints from any and everyone I call about how bad it sounds, my phone mutes ITSELF anywhere from 5 to 20 minutes into a conversation. I can hear perfectly well, I have 5 bars so I know it's not the network, it just mutes so whoever I'm talking to can no longer hear me. The only solution is to hang up and call back. It's bad enough when that happens on a personal call, but I use my phone for work. So yeah, it's horrible. I went to Verizon to see if they could find a solution and they just told me it's a known issue with this phone and there will hopefully be a software fix in the next couple of months. What??? Not acceptable.

Junk - need missing launch codes to make it work. Big, like old brick flip phones - Wont load Cox email - Verizon,& Cox tech support no help. Neither was tech savvy store clerk.

A little disappointed with this phone. Expected more out of it. It has started freezing up where I have to take the battery out in order to re-start the phone. Also it is very slow when the battery is charging. Have had the symbols go haywire while charging. Others have commented that my voice isn't as clear. Do love the slide out keyboard.

Worst phone I ever owned. After 2 weeks the phone would mute itself after 20 minutes of talking. Got a replacement, and same thing happened 2 weeks later. Save yourself the trouble...avoid this phone.

The voice quality is very poor. I was sent a new phone and it has the same poor sound. This should not be called a phone.

The phone has a nice screen and is good because it has the qwerty keyboard, But I've been having trouble with some calls, it sounds bad and they have already changed the phone for me once. So not sure if it's the phone or the network. Also I've had trouble with it freezin a few times but its my first smart phone so I guess other than that it's pretty good like pics n apps memory is good!
