Introducing Droid Razr. The ultimate power of Droid. The legendary edge of Razr. Combined to form the thinnest 4G LTE smartphone. Reinforced with Corning® Gorilla® Glass. Encased in laser cut KEVLAR® fiber – the strongest material in smartphones. Power, strength, and 4G LTE speed. Compressed into a deceptively thin profile. Available exclusively from Verizon.

DROID Razr by Motorola is slick and stylish.
What cell phone compares to this model? It sports similar features to the DROID Bionic by Motorola for Verizon Wireless, but the DROID Razr sports a slimmer profile.
Why should I get this phone? You want an Android smartphone with a spacious 4.3-inch display that works on Verizons speedy 4G LTE network.
In a nutshell: The DROID Razr by Motorola is an impressive high-end Android 2.3 phone thats as attractive as it is functional. It can record 1080p HD video, handles streaming music and video over Verizons 4G LTE network with ease, and has plenty of space for storing a variety multimedia files.
The DROID Razr by Motorola is one sleek smartphone with. In fact, it is only 7.1mm thick. Thats pretty thin when compared to other DROID models in Verizons line-up. Adding to its appeal is its sharp and crisp 4.3-inch Super AMOLED Advance qHD touchscreen display. Its bright and viewable in direct sunlight even while wearing sunglasses. The entire front of the cell phone is essentially a large screen. At the top of the display just below the A in the Motorola logo is a front-facing camera lens. The cell phone has a gray-checkered rubberized-like casing that feels good in the hand. Those with smaller hands likely wont be able to wrap your fingers around the smartphone, but youll probably still enjoy using it. It has the standard 4 dedicated Android keys across the bottom of the display for Menu, Home, Go Back, and Search.

The SIM and microSD card slot are on the side of the phone instead of hidden inside.
Making Calls: During calls we could hear callers and callers said they had a similar experience on their end. Regardless of how close you hold the smartphone to your face, the End Call button never seems to get accidentally hit. We also appreciate that its fairly easy to do three-way calling on this cell phone. For those afraid of pocket dialing theres an In-Pocket Detection feature that essentially locks the phones screen when in a pocket.
Operating System: The smartphone comes loaded with the Android 2.3.5 Gingerbread OS, sports a dual-core 1.2 GHz processor, which makes for a responsive user experience. The smartphone has 16GB of internal memory so youll have plenty of room to store music, photos, videos, and more. You can switch between the five home screens and launch applications without delay. This also means video playback is smooth and seamless. Overall, the user interface is fairly straightforward and icon friendly.
At the base of the screen are four changeable quick launch buttons for Phone, Text, Camera, and Apps.
As is the case with other Android smartphones, its fairly easy to customize the phone by adding a shortcut, widget, folder, or apps to any of the screens. Verizon has included a few apps on the cell phone such as the Blockbuster, Amazon Kindle, NFL Mobile, Madden NFL 12, Slacker Radio, and of course access to the various V CAST offerings. We should also note that this cell phone will work with corporate e-mail accounts and corporate sync.

Camera Features: The DROID Razr has a rear-facing 8-megapixel camera with flash and a front-facing camera that can be used for video chat and snapping self-portraits.
You can also view videos or pictures taken with the DROID Razr by Motorola on an HDMI capable TV using an optional HDMI cable accessory.

Micro-HDMI port can be used to view content on the phone on a HDTV.
Connectivity: The DROID Razr by Motorola works with Verizons 4G LTE network. When theres a 4G connection available theres no need to use WiFi. Were happy to report that when connecting to Verizons 4G Network the phone maintained the signal consistently.
Battery Life: The battery life performance on the DROID Razr by Motorola was on par with other 4.3-inch smartphones. We were able to go a full day before needing to recharge the cell phone, when we had the cell phones screen set at full brightness and used it to check e-mail, surf the web, stream music, play games, and take a few pictures.
With its 1.2 GHz dual-core processor, 4G LTE connectivity, Android 2.3 Gingerbread OS, enhanced music features the DROID Razr by Motorola has a lot more to offer than just a slim profile.

I got my first cell phone back in 1994. Since then I have had exactly two cell phones that I loved. The first was the original moto razr, the second is the droid razr. The screen is awesome, the design is great. I'd like a little more battery life, but compaired to other droids/smart phones I have used, this battery is superior. The virtual keyboard gives me some grief from time to time. It either won't go away or misses the exact key but it is ok. Still I dropped one for ease of use. The call clarity is great thanks to Verizon. I just wish they hadn't pulled my all you can eat data plan away from me while I was between phones.

Everything about this RAZR is great, but the only complaint that continues to come up is the BATTERY LIFE...Even when not in use (standby) it drains the battery..Needs a better way to conserve it....
